Jed Latabe used to weigh 128 kilos. Then, one day, he decided it was time for change. So he started Zumba. He lost 45 kilos, and today he's a trainer, fit as a fiddle. For Jed, Zumba hasn't been just a weight loss programme; he says he's found new meaning in life and his confidence levels have been upped. His message is clear: you need to identify one thing that can be a catalyst to change. Change for the better. Holistic change. Read about his inspiring tale that comes with a subtext: you can do it too.
Fox Mulder and Dana Scully. Remember them? The X-Files. The two agents with vastly differing points of view, and the smouldering (that word was almost reinvented: Scully + Mulder = smoulder, that used to be my own tacky equation) chemistry that kept them together. David Duchovny, the actor who played Mulder in the hugely-popular (and critically acclaimed) TV series, tells us why he is excited about The X-Files reprise, and why he's thrilled to be cast together in the net with his old colleague and flame Scully (played by Gillian Anderson).
Whenever you hear the word 'protein', you think of meat, fish and eggs. We seem to cut down a vital component to the protein match on the table: vegetables. Did you know a lot of veggies - yes, that's right - are incredibly good protein sources? In Kitchen Classics this week, we tell you how to be protein-rich while getting your dietary fibre too: by doing more with veggies. Enjoy. Travel tells us fascinating tales culled from the Thousand Islands - an archipelago sandwiched between the US and Canada. All this and much more.
Enjoy reading wknd. and have a great weekend!
