The first day of Eid will be "hot in general, partly cloudy at times, with a probability of convective clouds over the eastern and southern areas by afternoon, maybe with some rainfall. Light to moderate winds may blow at times over some areas. Relative humidity will increase during night and early morning over some coastal and internal areas, and fog/mist may form. Sea will be moderate to slight in the Arabian Gulf and moderate to rough at times in Oman Sea".
The lowest temperatures are expected in the mountainous areas as low as 26 degrees Celsius, while the highest will be in internal, desert areas, where they will reach 47 degrees Celsius.
Mountain peaks will also be the driest, with humidity varying from as low as 10 per cent to a maximum of 65 per cent, while coastal areas will be most humid, with a minimum of 25 per cent and maximum 95 per cent.
The weather will be much the same on the second day of Eid and over the weekend, with a general increase in temperatures and humidity.Fog and mist formation are expected in the western and northern parts of the country, as well.
