Sharjah road to be partially closed for repairs until October 10

The Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has partially closed an internal road at the busy Samnan area owing to necessary works by the department of public works.
The Two of the three-lane road will be blocked so that the department can carry out the requisite works of the pumping station of the treated sewage water No. (5), according to official sources with the Authority.

"These are added to the important works of the main pumping line of the treated water extending from the sewage water treatment station in the 5th Industrial area to the Sea."
The ongoing partial road closure is to last for five more days and slated to end on Tuesday, October 10, they explained.
All drivers are urged to reduce speed, be attentive on the road, and take alternative roads to avoid traffic congestion. "Any possible inconvenience is regretted, but it is for the best of road users."
The regular maintenance works, meant to enhance public safety and security, is in line with the directions of His Highness Dr. Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, he underlined.
"The road development, being done as per the highest international standards, will give a boost to the performance of the road and the entire road network of the emirate for the benefit of the public."
