Delhi-based 40-year-old woman tell police that the same doctor and his friends raped her about three years ago.
A woman was allegedly gang-raped by a doctor and his friend in Delhi, police said on Sunday.
The woman also claimed that the same doctor, his friend and two other men also raped her about three years ago. One of the accused in the earlier gang rape has been arrested.
Police suspect the woman's claims. However, they are taking action as per law.
The 40-year-old woman informed police that a doctor named Relia (75) and his friend Kishore Chand Narang (80) gang-raped her at a Hauz Khas house in south Delhi on Saturday afternoon.
“The duo then dropped the victim outside the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Trauma Centre at about 5.30pm,” said a police officer, as per the allegation of the woman.
The woman said one Raj Narayan (40) whom she knew for the past five years, took her to the dispensary of the doctor to get her a job. He then took her to Narang's house where she was raped.
The woman informed the police about the incident and also revealed that Relia, Narang, Raj Narayan and Vikash, 40, had gang-raped her three years ago.
At that time, she could not muster courage to report the matter, the victim told police.
'On the victim's complaint, Vikash was arrested on Sunday and police teams have been sent to nab the others,' said the officer.
