Brussels, Belgium - EU official Peter Stano says 27 member states issued statements on two dates to welcome the treaties.

The European Union (EU) has reiterated its support for the peace accord made by the UAE and Bahrain with Israel.
Peter Stano, Lead Spokesperson for the External Affairs of the European Union, said the EU's 27 member states issued statements on August 15 and September 12, welcoming the respective UAE-Israel and UAE-Bahrain peace accords.
He added that Stavros Lambrinidis, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to the United States, attended the signing ceremony, which took place in Washington on Tuesday.
