Louboutin Shades APP

A nude pair of heels are a basic in every fashionista’s closet. Not only do they pair well with almost any outfit, the right shade can also make your legs look longer. Christian Louboutin — one of the hottest shoe designers — who recently launched his collection of nude shoes has also launched a new free iPhone application — Louboutin Shades — to help you pick the best hue for your skintone. The app allows you to take a picture of your feet, and then upload it to find the perfect match. There are a variety of shades available in five classic shapes — Pigalle, Fifi, Simple Pump, Flo and Vendome. Not exactly easy on the pocket, a pair of nude Loubies are definitely a wise investment.

The curve

Who says education has to stop when you start working? The Curve is a new online marketplace for adult classes in the Middle East, and it aims to help working people break out of their daily rut, and learn something new. There are a variety of classes listed — crafts, photography, fashion, beauty and art, to name a few — and you can even pick one according to your budget. The website — www.thecurve-me.com — basically puts together the different classes available all over in Dubai. The Curve team tries the classes before they are listed on the website. You can browse, book and rate classes you take through the website. Keep growing your learning curve!

Sonam & Rhea Kapoor to design

Sonam Kapoor, without a doubt, is one of the most stylish women in India. Not only does she have access to some of the best brands across the world, what sets her apart is how she gives each outfit her own little twist, and keeps her looks fresh. Not only has it made her a fashion icon in India, international brands like Roberto Cavalli, Salvatore Ferragamo and Burberry also invite her for their catwalk shows.

Even though she can be credited for making the ladies of Bollywood more fashionably conscious, it is her sister Rhea Kapoor who styles her. We don’t get to see the junior Ms Kapoor in front of the cameras as often as we would like to, but whenever we have, she’s been spotted in some seriously quirky and trendy pieces.

We are surprised it took this long, but the sisters are now collaborating to create their own clothing line. They are trying to keep the details under wraps, but we do know that the work on the line has already begun, and they are designing pieces that are super stylish but classic at the same time. Their aim is to create a line that is elegant, and very wearable.
