The XLine in Dubai Marina is a one kilometre zipline with an incline of 16 degrees and average speed of 80 kilometres per hour.
Enthusiasts can take the ride from one of the Amwaj towers in JBR and enjoy breathtaking views of skyscrapers and Marina waters, down to the terrace of Dubai Marina Mall. Besides, the XLine captures photos and videos of the riders through a helmet-mounted Go-Pro and shares with them their thrilling experience via email.
The XLine has two zip lines running concurrently which can accommodate 16 people per hour. The permissible age limit for the zipline ride is 12 to 65 years old, and riders under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian. Zipliners must be a minimum height of 130cm, weigh 50-100kg, and be in a good medical condition.
