A car was spotted in flames along a road in Dubai's Ras Al Khor area, according to Khaleej Times readers on Facebook.
Pictures from the scene reveal a Dubai Civil Defence response team quelling the blaze immediately.
Earlier, a lorry driver had died in a blaze along Dubai-Sharjah road. 
Live updates from Google reveal that traffic levels along Ras Al Khor road has been affected by the blaze. On the other hand, Dubai Police shared on their official Twitter page that three roads along Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road are closed due to an accident. Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes.
