A young man has landed in court for harassing a girl on WhatsApp in Abu Dhabi.
She claimed she did not know how the man obtained her number, but he messaged her incessantly. 
Her refusal to answer him only seemed to encourage him further, so she filed a complaint against him, as per Al Khaleej report.
The public prosecutor confirmed the identity of the man via the telecommunications company.
In court, the youth denied the charges and claimed he only sent her one message. 
He added that he did not know the girl but had obtained her number from his mother's phone and thought she was his relative.
The court adjourned the next hearing for January 21.
