People who are driving during Eid holidays in UAE will have to be careful about the fog situation, the weather department has cautioned.
The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology, NCMS, has urged motorists to be cautious on roads due to fog in various areas of the country.
In a statement on Thursday, NMCS said the weather will be hot in general, partly cloudy and hazy at times.
It said cloud amount will increase at times over some eastern areas, which may become convective at times by afternoon.
Light to moderate winds in general, freshening at times and causing blowing dust and sand over exposed areas can also be expected.
"The relative humidity is likely to increase during night and early morning over some coastal and internal areas especially westward. Seas will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman," it added.
The statement said the weather conditions are likely to be the same on Friday and Saturday.
Rainfall is forecast over the eastern and mountainous areas of the country with the possibility of towering clouds by afternoon, especially by Sunday and Monday.
