Dubai will develop a new mega residential, commercial, educational, entertainment and cultural district within Dubai South.
Set to be a part of the Expo 2020 legacy development, the district will have 65,000sqm of space for residential development and 135,000sqm for commercial development, attracting investments worth billions of dirhams.
Mohanad Alwadiya, CEO of Harbor Real Estate, said District 2020 and Dubai South will be the 'New Dubai' beyond 2020, offering great opportunities. He told Khaleej Times prices in that area are low as the infrastructure is being developed. Prices will increase in the future as Expo 2020 gets closer.
