Emirati singer Ahmad Bukhatir has decided to mark the blessing month of Ramadan with a new video clip entitled 'Ramadan 2018'. The new Nasheed (song) posted on Bukhatir Youtube channel has been so far been watched by about 300,000 viewers.
In the outset of the three-minute Nashid, he sings: 'Ramadan's breezes blew and pleased the hearts, and its light coloured all paths. Its brightness touched our sorrows, Carrying good news that our torments have been ended.'
Bukhatir told Khaleej Times that he was over thrilled to come up with the new video to mark and celebrate the holy month. "The new Nasheed carries supplications and meanings of good and humanity."
The lyrics of the Nasheed were written by famous poet Omar Al Sakaf. The melodies were composed by Bukhatir, while the sound engineering was administered by Hossam Saleh.
"The Nasheed was filmed in a humanitarian, charitable theme in accordance with my permanent message in all my works and activities."
The artistic work has been done in cooperation with director Abdul Rahman Kendo under the management and supervision of Fadi Tolbi, he explained.
Bukhatir revealed that he is preparing a new work for children in conformity with the largest audio and video capabilities.
"This work will be a captivating surprise to everyone," he said. "It is a new challenge for me."
