Guardiola has won five Premier League titles, two FA Cups and four League Cups at City but European success has eluded the manager
The crackdown comes as a move to ensure road safety and to reduce the number of accidents that occur when drivers suddenly jump from one lane to the other.
Lieutenant colonel Seif Abdallah Al Falasi, deputy director of the traffic and patrolling of Ajman Police, said that the crackdown was launched after it was noticed that there was a spike in the number of accidents during sudden lane change.
"We have found out that many accidents are caused when motorists use mobile phones while driving which distracts them. Many fail to buckle seat belts while driving. We have fined 109 violators who were found using mobile phones while driving and 407 motorists who failed to buckle up. We will continue our crackdowns to deter motorists from committing violations while driving and ensure they strictly adhere to traffic rules and regulations."
