Clint Eastwood enters new territory with his latest project, a film adaptation of Tony Award-winning Broadway musical Jersey Boys.

The story charts the rise to stardom of The Four Seasons – a quartet of young hopefuls from the streets of Newark, New Jersey. Led by Frankie Valli (John Lloyd Young), the pop group enjoy a string of classic hits including Big Girls Don’t Cry, Working My Way Back to You, December, 1963 (Oh What a Night) and Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.

But despite their meteoric success, the boys in the band must battle their personal demons as well as ill-willed outside forces.

Reviews are yet to surface for the film, which stars Christopher Walken alongside a mostly unknown cast.

Jersey Boys currently has no rating on rottentomatoes.com and a 7.9/10 rating on imdb.com.
