Eehita Chhabra of Delhi Private School-Sharjah (DPS-S) grabbed the individual championship by winning 5 gold medals with record breaking performances in the girls under 19 category of the CBSE National swimming meet at the Indira National School in India.

Eehita of grade 10 grabbed golds with new meet records in the 800m freestyle, 400m freestyle, 50 breaststroke and 200m breaststroke. She also won gold in the 100m breaststroke.

Gagana M.G, Aaradita Sunder, Srishti Jacob, Sraddha Sabu and Shraddha Sharma of DPS-S’s girls under 12 relay team secured silver and bronze in the 4x50m freestyle and 4x50m medley relay events respectively.

Principal Vandana Marwaha; T. Ali, HOD Sports; coach Sunitha T.S, manager Syed Salim and the school felicitated the team at a function immediately after the contingent returned from India.
