Asian Cup: Free tickets for big UAE semifinal match

Abu Dhabi - The hosts will face Qatar on Tuesday - after defeating Australia on Friday.

The Abu Dhabi Sports Council has announced 'free' entrance tickets for fans of UAE national team to the semifinal match of Asian Cup 2019 between the hosts and Qatar on Tuesday (January 29).
This comes following directions issued by Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, chairman of the council.
The council said that it has bought all the remaining (unsold) tickets for the match.
It added on Instagram account that the tickets would be distributed starting Sunday (January 27) from 10am to 10pm.
However, the brief statement did not specify if the tickets would be free for Emiratis or expats as well.
The council chairman said the players of the UAE national football team have proved they are true stars by showing their courage and keeping high spirits on the field. He wished them more success in the future.
