The brutal terrorist assault in Kenya warrants a plan to eradicate the menace of terrorism in all its manifestations. The world must adopt an unambiguous narrative on terrorism. It should be condemned and disowned in all forms. It is not a contemporary menace. It has been around since antiquity, surfacing on and off under certain situations linked to subjective circumstances than to objective conditions. The difference today is terrorism's pervasiveness, the type of weaponry used, its international character, and the threat it poses to the very existence of our so-called civilised world. We need to find a way to win over hate, and see that everyone finds a reason in peace and humanity.
