Holidays are fun for all of us aren’t, but this time I experienced a very unique fun.

Last year when I went to Europe, I saw the continent at a glance. I ate tasty cuisines, which included scrambled eggs, hash browns and delicious cappuccinos. And when I went to Paris, I visited Disney Land. I had a lot of fun with Mickey and Minnie mouse! And what can I tell u about those rides in Disney land! Oh they were amazing! And my whole trip to Europe was fantastic.

But this year the fun I had was a total twist and something different. I went to my own country, India, and there I visited an orphanage, with some gifts for those children. I was surprised to see how independent they were. But I was also sad to see them the way they were. I went to a girl and gave her book and a toffee. Her happiness knew no bounds. It was that minute of my life, which made me feel fully delighted and satisfied.

That moment I learnt that you don’t get true happiness by seeing or making yourself happy, but you get it when you see others happy.

The three ‘ings’ I did in my holiday were ‘sharing, caring and helping’.
