TAKING TIME OUT from their hectic superhero schedules, the Marvel Avengers will be touring Toys “R” Us stores around the UAE this weekend.

Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk and Thor will meet fans in the run-up to the release of Hollywood movie The Avengers on May 3, starring Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson and Chris Hemsworth among others.

Visitors can pose for photos with the elite crimefighters, as well as purchasing Avengers toys - with the first 100 customers spending Dhs99 receiving autographed caps.

On Thursday, the trio will be at the Deira City Centre store between 6pm and 8.40pm, on Friday at the Times Square Centre store (11am to 12.40pm) and the Dubai Festival City store (6pm to 8.40pm), and on Saturday at the Port Zayed, Abu Dhabi store (11am to 1.40pm).
