Sultan bin Khalifa Medical Personality of the Year
The Shaikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences announced on Thursday the selection of Dr Shaikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President, as the Distinct Medical Personality of the Year in the 7th edition of the award (2011-12).
This was announced at a Press conference held by the award at the Culture and Sciences Symposium in Al Mamzar. Shaikh Sultan was chosen in recognition for his scientific and humanitarian and work. “The selection of the winners was based on their distinctiveness in the scientific field,” said Mirza Al Sayegh, representative of Shaikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, UAE Minister of Finance and President of the Dubai Health Authority.
