As part of its continuing efforts to provide the best services to its customers, thereby enabling them to complete their transactions smoothly across various areas in the emirate, Dubai Courts opened its new Personal Status Services Department yesterday in Al Barsha Mall.
Tarish Eid Al Mansouri, Director-General, Dubai Courts, inaugurated the new centre, stressing the significant role played by the new service centres, placing more convenience and faster completion time in facilitating transactions made by UAE nationals and residents as per the directives of Shaikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Board of the Dubai Judicial Council.
Al Mansouri added that the opening demonstrates Dubai Courts’ commitment towards excellence, particularly in its provision of legal services. The efforts also fall in line with the move to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction and happiness, which is part of the objectives set by the Happiness Index initiative launched by His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai,
“The opening of this new service centre reflects Dubai Courts’ steadfast commitment to play a key role in the success of the Happiness Index initiative and also in fulfilling our vision of pioneering in court work. The launch also comes in response to the increased demand for our services, which totalled 18,597 transactions in 2014. 6,733 were proofs of marital status, 5,645 were proofs of continuation of marriage, 3,439 were for marriages officiated in court and 1,050 for the determination of heirs. We are confident that the opening of new service centres across the emirate will help us in our efforts to provide our customers with convenient processes that save both time and effort,” he added.
