Maxtalent to participate in Indian cricket tournament
DUBAI - UAE’s Maxtalent will participate in the fourth Maxtalent Bisleri Challenge Cup Tournament for under-17 boys, organised by Maxtalent International under the auspices of Mumbai Cricket Association, to be held from December 20 in Mumbai.
Besides Maxtalent, the tournament will see Mumbai’s seven top cricket academy teams — Shivaji Park Gymkhana (Dadar), MIG (Bandra) Elf Vengsarkar, Chandrakant Pandit Cricket Academy, Lalchand Rajput Academy, Elf Vengsarkar Academy, Payade Cricket Club, P J Hindu Gymkhana — in action as they vie for top honour in the league-cum-knockout 40-over-a-side match.
Players like Vignesh Rajan, Shomeresh, Ranjit Waghmare, Pratik Shetty and Shahz Ahmad have all made their mark using this tour as platform.
The ten-day tour will have minimum five matches with Sudhakar Shetty as head coach of the team.
