Since its creation in 1992 by a former ice-skater and coach, Luda Kalenuk from Ukrain, the Al Nasr Team has staged many ice skating shows and won many championships in the UAE, US and Thailand. Major names of Dubai ice skating such as Vova Panesh, Christina Sharigina, Christine Saab, Sara, Monica, Karmila and Yasmin Thomas, Fanny, Nina, Daniel, Michael, Annetta have already taken part in these shows and part in the hearts of Dubai ice skating lovers.

Luda, producer and choreographer of the show, selected an outstanding team for this year's summer edition. Dubai's best skating couple Christina Sharigina and Vova Panesh, both 17, were also there.

The big eye-catchers were the Russian Vova Panesh, winner at the last UAE Championships at the Hayatt Regency, the Japanese Christine Saab, 13 — who came first in the same competition, who was the main character in MULAN.

Moreover, Luda also invited two promising young skaters. The British Karmila Thomas, 7, who achieved a brilliant 2005 winter season by winning the title of Junior UAE Champion and obtained superb results with the seniors, and French rising star Fanny Voung, 8, also took part in the show. Fanny had the opportunity to show her incredible skills to the public, who came with a lot of expectations.
