Find out that, and what they look for in their dream men, in this edition of City Times

MINISSHA LAMBA

The Date: I didn’t go out with anyone famous so you wouldn’t know the person.

Memoirs of the Date: I tried to keep it a secret from everyone. I even lied to my close friends about my whereabouts. My friends were going out that night, I lied to them and said that I couldn’t go because I was sick. But they ended up coming to the same restaurant where I was with my date and I got caught. The date ended up becoming a group outing. Thank God that my friends came over because the date was kind of boring; so they rescued me.

The Venue: An Indian restaurant called Peshawari in Mumbai.

Dream Man: Someone who exists in dreams only. I like being with real people, people with flaws and imperfections. There is no such thing as the perfect man. If you’re going to expect one, then you may get disappointed.

Dream Couple: Abhishek and Aishwarya. They are absolutely beautiful and they are just perfect.

SAMEERA REDDY

The Date: The first guy I dated.

Memoirs of the Date: I think my first proper date was in college. I was not very popular as such; I was a geek! The guy went out of his way; made cheese fondue and decorated the place with rose petals. He also played Frank Sinatra in the background. I was completely bowled over.

The Venue: On top of his building, on the terrace.

Dream Man: Over the years it has changed. Now I want a genuine family guy. There are days when you want a player. But for long term, I need someone who has a lust for life.

Dream Couple: Saif and Kareena. They aren’t just wonderful but you can also see their genuine love.

KIM SHARMA

The Date: Carlos Marin, member of Il Divo.

Memoirs of the Date: The most memorable moment was when I met Carlos in the plane. It was memorable since we did not realise when the journey came to an end.

The Venue: At an international airport.

Dream Man: Everything that Carlos is! Masculine, great physique, very polite and respectful.

Dream Couple: Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu because Sairaji has always loved and cared for him so devotedly.

AMRITA RAO

The Date: Aftab Shivdasani.

Memoirs of the Date: A film magazine had a column called ‘Blind Date’; they asked me whether I wanted to be a part of it. I said yes. My date turned out to be Aftab Shivdasani. We met at a disco and we had a photo shoot. It was kind of funny.

The Venue: Velocity or Athena, don’t remember the place.

Dream Man: I prefer someone who is motivating and has a very good sense of humour.

Dream Couple: Malaika Arora Khan and Arbaaz Khan.

NEHA DHUPIA

The Date: Not saying (but we are guessing it’s her boyfriend Ritwick Bhattacharya).

Memoirs of the Date: It would have to be a holiday in Paris - cafes, chalets, the stores. An awesome experience to say the least! It’s true when they say that Paris is the city of love. The city really brought out the lover in me.

The Venue: Paris.

Dream Man: He would have to be tall and very, very patient. I’m an extremely talkative person and so he has to bear with that and also get my sense of humour! That’s a must!

Dream Couple: Hrithik and Susanne
