Seminar highlights projects to turn Dubai into City of the Future

The Dubai 10X Program Team at the Supreme Legislation Committee in the emirate of Dubai (SLC) recently highlighted the most important futuristic projects that are set to support the 'Dubai 10X' initiative.
The seminar was aimed at promoting Dubai as a pioneering environment in the UAE for the development of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, on par with the world's most developed countries. The meeting also discussed ways to develop a sophisticated legislative system following a strategic direction that will transform Dubai into the world's largest innovation hub, placing it 10 years ahead of other cities.
Ahmad Saeed bin Meshar Al Muhairi, SLC Secretary General, said that the SLC has great confidence in the Dubai 10X Team, and provided it with the necessary support to translate the proposals into actual projects that would drive Dubai's vision to become the leading city in the world in adopting pioneering innovation in the government sector, paving the way for the establishment of the 'City of the Future.'
"We are committed to supporting the efforts of all local government entities wishing to modernise the legislative and legal system that supports the government work flow based on new developments, which would lead to innovative models that contribute to Dubai's bid to become the 'City of the Future'," Al Muhairi added.
Dr. Mansour Abdul Rahman Al Osaimi, director of the SLC's Legislation Directorate and Dubai 10X Team leader, noted the team's full commitment to implement world-class projects as the solid foundation for Dubai's legislative and legal system, which ensures an efficient and effective implementation of legislation and promotes the rule of law.
"The seminar presents an ideal platform to highlight the pioneering projects launched by the SLC as part of its efforts to enhance the flexibility of the legislation passed by Dubai Government to keep pace with the future. We will continue our work with other local government entities as one team to ensure pioneering innovation is fully embraced to enable Dubai to start implementing today what other cities in the world will begin implementing in 10 years. We are working steadily and confidently to enhance government integration in the field of innovation and creativity, which will make Dubai a leading model for future cities," Al Osaimi noted.
