Executive flight services advisory council formed

DUBAI — Shaikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President, Department of Civil Aviation, Dubai and Chairman of Emirates Group announced the Executive Flight Services Advisory Council — a panel of aviation industry experts who will work to ensure an industry-wide exchange of information on emerging technologies and strategies that can strengthen Dubai Executive Flight Services industry.

The Executive Flight Services Advisory Council will be chaired by Mohammed A. Ahli, director operations- DCA and Jamal Al Hai, director strategy and management excellence- DCA as vice-chairman.

Shaikh Ahmed, said: "As we worked to assemble an Executive Flight Services Advisory Council, we made sure to select members from diverse backgrounds, with a wide range of experiences in issues related to the Executive Flight Services and Aviation field in general. All Jabel Ali Airport Advisory Councils put together are the centerpieces of a larger effort at the Commission to ensure that our aviation industry remains the finest and most reliable in the world. Each member of the Advisory Councils has demonstrated a strong and shared commitment to this vital goal. The nominations are issued to 12 executives within the industry."

The Executive Flight Services Advisory Council will play an important role in identifying opportunities to improve the overall industry of executive flight services in Dubai with special focus on Jable Ali Airport City. The continuous development of the executive flight industry in Dubai International Airport underscores the fact that having a strong executive flight infrastructure is critical to our economy, added Ahli.
