MANAMA - The Bahraini-Saudi Bank has filed a lawsuit in the Bahraini Criminal Court against the Bank's former governor and three of his deputies on allegations of breach of trust in their Bank's obligations resulting in huge losses for the bank at $80 million followed by the subsequent withdrawal of client's savings totalling $178 million by.
The Bank demanded from the Bahraini Criminal Court to place the properties of the four persons under custody, restrict their movement and charge them 10 million dinars.
Lawyers of the plaintiff asked the court to appoint an auditor to look into the bank's books as proof of the authenticity of their allegations.
The Bahraini Criminal Court was adjourned until the fifth of June 2004.
