Considering the surge in passenger numbers in the Philippines during the holiday season, overnight parking will be temporarily prohibited at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3.
The announcement was made by the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) banning vehicles from overnight parking from December 28, 2018, until January 3, 2019. In a statement, MIAA said that the new rule is in response to the growing number of travellers at the airport especially during the holiday season.
Normal operations at NAIA Terminal 3 parking area will resume on January 4, according to The Filipino Times.
NAIA is one of the two international airports serving the Metro Manila area and is the main international gateway to the Philippines.
