Kuwait will resume direct commercial flights with India on Tuesday, the Gulf country’s civil aviation authority said on Monday.
The decision to resume flights was first announced last month but without giving a time frame for implementation. The flights to India and many other countries were stopped after the second wave spread of Covid-19. Kuwait resumed direct flights with Egypt on Sunday.
On Monday, the Kuwaiti Cabinet also announced that sports fans will be allowed back into stadiums with the start of the 2021-2022 season. The Centre for Government Communication said on Twitter that only vaccinated fans will be allowed to enter stadiums.
