Zayed receives cable from Khatami

ABU DHABI - The President, His Highness Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, has received a cable from Iranian President Mohammed Khatami on the successful surgery Shaikh Zayed underwent recently and the 37th anniversary of his accession as Ruler of Abu Dhabi.

Meanwhile, Shaikh Zayed has sent a cable of greetings to Chad President Idriss Deby on his country's National Day.

His Highness Shaikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, sent a similar cable to Mr Deby.
