A 19-year-old girl in Rohtak district of India stabbed her brother to death and hide his body in the bed box.
The girl was reportedly upset with her 15-year-old brother for being teased over her relationship with a boy. The body of the victim was recovered on Saturday night from the bed in their house.
The girl, who is a higher secondary student, had no remorse and confessed to the crime, SHO of Sadar Police station had told Times of India.
The crime took place in the absence of the parents from the house. The accused first attacked her brother with a hammer. She later slit his throat with a knife after he lost conscious.
She cleaned the house and dumped a body in the bed box.
"Initially, she said that her father Tejpal had attacked the duo but she somehow managed to escape. Acting on mother's complaint, we had booked Tejpal. But during the course of the investigation, we picked her up and interrogated where she confessed to have murdered him," said Manjeet Singh, the SHO.
