DUBAI - A series of fun-filled entertainment and surprises from homegrown and international performers started in Global Village to mark the one-week Eid Al Adha celebrations.

Special performances start at 4pm and continue till midnight till November 21.

All cultural performances are supported by a fireworks extravaganza.

Saeed Ali bin Redha, CEO of Global Village, told Khaleej Times that the new season at Global Village will offer an unforgettable and lavish experience for visitors. “Spectacular shows from around the world have been brought to Global Village for the first time in the Middle East.”

Global Village is featuring a series of attractions such as country pavilions, park streets and the World Culture Stage that hosts cultural performers from around the world. Going on now at the World Culture Stage are nightly performances by bollywood dancers from Mumbai, One World Taiko drummers from Japan and Kenyan acrobats from Zulu to South Africa. Kenyan dancers are also performing nightly at the Lake Stage nearby.

Homegrown talents from the UAE are also performing at the Global Village Community Stage as part of the season’s multifaceted entertainment offerings. Talented singers, dance groups, musicians, bands, mime artists, magicians, physical artists, actors, acrobats and other performance groups in the UAE are showcasing their talents at this stage.

Children have all the reasons to enjoy at the Fun Fair at Global Village with its over 40 rides providing exciting leisure options for all ages.
