RTA shares expertise with delegation from Ministry of Finance

DUBAI — A delegation from the Ministry of Finance (MoF) in Dubai recently visited the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) to review the key achievements made by the RTA and share its expertise in various fields.

According to a media release, Abdul Mohsin Ibrahim, CEO of RTA Strategy and Corporate Governance Sector, received the delegation comprising a number of administrative officials.

The delegation was headed by Ahmed Mahmoud Al Hammadi, Executive Director, Joint Internal Audit.

The gathering reviewed the key achievements and procedures applicable in the field of corporate governance, risk management and internal audit management.

A presentation discussed the key elements of governance such as governance standards, requirements of implementation, adopted mechanisms, responsibilities towards customer suggestions and complaints, management of technological resources, assets and property management, financial resources, internal audit, work ethics and other precise and important responsibilities. Another presentation reflected the importance of RTA corporate risk management system which contributes to raising the awareness of risk management and building a common language of risk and communication.

Abdullah Al Jawi, Director, Internal Audit, made a presentation about the strategic drive of the department aimed at achieving impartiality and excellence in order to enhance the performance.

The delegation praised the level of services offered by RTA Strategy and Corporate Governance Sector for the quality of its diverse services.
