Nasser Al Suweidi, Chairman of the RCS, said that according to the directives of Shaikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and the President of the UAE RCS, the authority is keen on developing its programmes and to supply the UAE residents with all kind of help and aid.

Cabsat 2007

DUBAI — A recent report from the Arab American Institute has disclosed that the number of Arabic satellite channels has risen from one in 1990 to over 200 today, second only to the number of satellite channels in English internationally. The report was made public by organisers of the forthcoming Cabsat 2007, the Middle East’s largest electronic media and satellite communications event which will run from 6-8 March at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
