Al Ghurair City, a key sponsor of DSF 2009, is hosting the Peru and Mexican dance performances as part of its attractions for this year’s festival. Donning colourful traditional costumes, performers danced in groups to traditional South American music.

The Peru and the Mexican traditional dance forms are representations of the dance and music styles of the Andes and the surrounding areas. While there are common elements in the dance forms, each portrays a theme such as war, love, family, etc and is distinct through the use of music.
