Move to set up diabetes treatment centre in Ajman

DUBAI - His Highness Shaikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, has appreciated the efforts of the Ajman University of Science and Technology and Ajman Medical Zone for taking the initiative to set up a Diabetes Treatment Centre in Ajman.

Addressing officials from both organisations including Dr Saeed Abdullab Salman, President of AUST Network, Abdul Rahman Al Nuairai, Director General, Ajman Medical Zone, the Ajman Ruler, said, " The move to set up such a medical centre to help the people of the UAE and the other neighbouring countries to be taken care of and get the right treatment will definitely find all support and help from our side."

"We shall spare no effort to be behind such great initiatives and shall do everything possible to make it happen," he added.

Dr Saeed Salman, said, "The DTC will be established jointly by AUST Network, Ajman Medical Zone and German Institute for Diabetes Treatment." The construction of the project which will start by the end of the year and it will take two years to complete, he added.
