Dubai - Kulsoom may opt for chemotherapy instead of surgery.
A senior PML-N party leader close to the Sharif family confirmed the news to Pakistan daily Dawn, and said the cancer was detected while she was in London undergoing medical check-ups.
The source added that Kulsoom may opt for chemotherapy instead of surgery, even though he stressed that the diagnosis was in its initial stages, the Dawn report added.
Pakistan TV channel Geo News also reported that Kulsoom had been diagnosed with throat cancer, citing doctors in the United Kingdom. The doctors added that the cancer is treatable, according to the channel.
