Education Minister greets teachers and students

In a message to mark the start of the new academic year 2003-4, Minister of Education and Youth, Dr Ali Abdul Aziz Al Sharhan, congratualted the teaching, administrative and technical staff and students on the new school year, hoping their back-to-school would be more interactive and optimistic.

''The modern concept of education requires harmony and interaction between the school, family and society organisations,'' he said. He added that the Education Vision 2020 seeks to enhance the role of education in achieving the comprehensive, sustainable socio-economic development.
