Carluccio’s, Dubai Mall, Dubai Marina Mall and Mirdif City Centre

For a delicious gift during Ramadan, you can indulge family and friends – or just yourself – with Carluccio’s range of confectionery.

The products are made especially for Carluccio’s by Italian confectioner Maglio, based in Puglia, southern Italy, who shares Carluccio’s passion for good, old-fashioned Italian cooking and authenticity.

The range includes fichi al cioccolato – delicious Italian figs stuffed with fresh lemon peel and almonds, steamed and covered with dark chocolate. The chocolate contains Grand Caraque, which creates a bitter aftertaste in contrast to the sweetness of the figs, giving the fichi al cioccolato the perfect balance of taste. Priced at Dhs112.

Also available are capricci – a selection of dark chocolate covered fruits including delicious treats such as dates stuffed with almond cream and pistachio paste, plums stuffed with almond cream and walnut kernels filled with almond cream and walnut paste. Priced at Dhs55.

Croccantini – a Puglian delicacy – is made up of small pieces of Puglian almonds, sugar and honey, covered in dark chocolate and is a delicious treat at Iftar. Priced at Dhs65.
