THE Indian School, Al Ain, has celebrated its 28th Annual Day in a gala manner at the School’s premises. Dr T.K. Moideen, Chairman, welcomed the chief guest, other distinguished guests and a large gathering of staff, students, parents and well-wishers.
The chief guest, Mr David Gross, Adviser, UAE University, Al Ain, emphasised that along with academic excellence, an overall personality development is a must, to be successful in today’s world.
In her annual report, Principal Mrs Neelam Upadhyay, enumerated the achievements of students in both curricular and co-curricular fields, and expressed her thanks for the teamwork exhibited between staff and students in enhancing the Indian School’s reputation.
Gold medals and merit scholarships were awarded to toppers in the CBSE exam and prizes were given away to meritorious students by the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour, Mrs Mary Brooks.
The Management of Indian School also awarded gold medals to staff members who had completed 10 and 20 years service and in recognition of their services.
