ADDF launches Summer Fiesta

Shaikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Department of Civil Aviation, says "following the success of last year's Summer Adventure campaign, I have instructed the management of Abu Dhabi Duty Free to come up with a new summer promotion this year to attract our passengers and maintain ADDF's position as an industry leader in this field. At Abu Dhabi International Airport, we believe in offering customers a luxurious and pleasant travel experience from start to finish."

Mohamed Mounib, Managing Director of ADDF, says "the Summer Fiesta will be very different from last year's Summer Adventure promotion, but is still aimed at encouraging travel into and out of Abu Dhabi, and at creating a festive feel around the airport to give passengers a pleasant experience before they travel, and linking shopping at ADDF with winning".

He said following extensive analysis of the results of last year's Summer Adventure campaign, ADDF has decided to lower the entry-level criteria in order to enable a larger number of passengers to take part.

There are daily prizes of three airline tickets, one to a European destination such as London, Paris, Amsterdam or Frankfurt, one to a Middle Eastern destination like Cairo or Beirut, and one to a Far East or Subcontinent destination such as Bangkok, Hong Kong, Singapore or Bombay. Other daily prizes include five gold bars weighing 2.5 grams every day, Everswiss watches, and lots of other gifts that have been developed especially for the Summer Fiesta, including caps, T-shirts, teddy bears, and much more.

The airline tickets are on both Gulf Air and the UAE national carrier Etihad Airways, both of who have offered significant savings on air fares to Abu Dhabi Duty Free as partners in the promotion.

The tickets will be valid for up to one year after the end of the promotion.
