The department slapped a fine of Dh40,000 on the Iranian theatre company which had organised the show. The Egyptian artiste and his team gathered in front of the theatre to apologise to the audience who were waiting. He said the cancellation of the show was not their decision, but it happened because the organising company was not aware of certain procedures. He said there was a contract with the RAK National Theatre to conduct two shows in RAK and another two in Dubai.
