6-year-old dies after being beaten by 7-year-old

Hyderabad - A complaint has been lodged by the father of the victim against the school authorities for negligence.

A class one student from Hyderabad died after being allegedly beaten by his senior, a class 3 student.
Six-year-old Mohammad Ibrahim was allegedly beaten by his 7-year-old senior. Both are the students of Promising Scholars School at IAS colony, Tolichowki.
According to NDTV, the incident took place on July 12, when Ibrahim was bullied and beaten by his senior. He was kicked four times in the stomach. Ibrahim succumbed to injuries on Saturday after undergoing two surgeries.
A complaint has been lodged by the father of the victim against the school authorities for negligence.
''It is total negligence on the part of the caretakers at the school,'' NDTV quoted Ibrahim's father Abdul Mujeeb as saying.
The matter is being investigated while a case has been registered against the accused.
"Since the accused is minor, we are mulling over options on how to go ahead with the case and also investigating the alleged negligence on part of the school," said Inspector K Srinivas.
