ABU DHABI — The Abu Dhabi Municipality has begun implementing various measures related to the development of Khalifa City in order to put the mega-city on the world map, said Municipality General Manager Engineer Juma Mubarak Al Junaibi.
The municipality is setting up international investment projects at Khalifa City, including markets and public service centres at designated places.
Among the main projects in Khalifa City are 13 schools for girls and boys, of which four have already been completed, seven kindergartens, six of which are ready, and three health service centres, of which one has been completed.
These projects are being developed under the Plan Abu Dhabi 2030.
The municipality has already put in place basic services of international standrads at all the places in Khalifa City, added Al Junaibi.
