ABU DHABI — A group of newly appointed diplomats at the Foreign Ministry were sworn in on Wednesday before Foreign Minister Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who assured them that the UAE, under the leadership of the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, would spare no effort to allow its children gain advanced knowledge so as to deal with the affairs and requirements of the modern-age.
Shaikh Abdullah affirmed the ministry’s willingness and determination to absorb qualified UAE nationals who are capable of serving their homeland and better representing it internally or externally.
Shaikh Abdullah urged the new 125 young diplomats, 73 men and 52 women, to work hard and faithfully in order to shoulder their responsibility properly as the ministry acts as the mirror of the country. —
