Terrifying moment, a snake lunged at a man and bit him on the face, was captured by a doorbell camera.
Jerel Heywood was visiting his friend in Lawton, Oklahoma, and was waiting for him to open the door when the 5ft-long snake launched an attack on him, reported CNN.
The video shows Heywood clutching his face after realising he has been bitten by a snake which was wrapped around a porch light outside his friend, Rodney Copeland's house. Heywood can be seen rushing into the house and shouting "take me to the hospital while Copeland and his wife are left horrified.

"I was in shock. That could've been anyone of us," Copeland said. Heywood was rushed to hospital immediately but fortunately the snake was not venomous and he required no stitches. "No stitches, thankfully, but they cleaned me up pretty good. I am on antibiotics," CNN quoted Heywood as saying.
Hearing the commotion, Copeland's neighbor rushed with a hammer and killed the snake. Copeland said it was the first time he found a snake in his home and believes it was taking refuge from recent heavy rains.
