Bahrain minister praises UAE FNC elections

Bahrain's Minister of Justice and Islamic Affairs and Chairman of the Higher Election Committee, Sheikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, has hailed the UAE's parliamentary experience, which are in line with the requirements of the country at an important stage in its history.
While visiting the main headquarters of the Federal national Council (FNC) elections at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company, Sheikh Khalid said: "The UAE's parliamentary experience translates The President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan's, desire to empower the people, and thus promote Emirati parliamentary work in all spheres.
This is reflected in the development being witnessed in the social arena."
He also reiterated that the parliamentary work in the UAE has seen a qualitative leap that was reflected in the FNC's participation in the Arab, regional and international events.- Wam
