The Emmy Award-winning series from the late '80s/early '90s has been a part of many-a-childhood that had kids dream of owning a money bin, or at least jumping in someone else's.
DuckTales has a special place in Disney's TV animation history, Marc Buhaj, Senior Vice President, Programming and General Manager, Disney XD said when making the announcement.

The series was inspired by Disney Legend Carl Barks' comic books that connects with kids and adults. Buhaj assured fans that the new series will bring that same energy and adventurous spirit to a new generation.
The new DuckTales will star the same beloved characters: Scrooge McDuck, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Launchpad McQuack, Donald Duck, Duckworth, Gyro Gearloose, Flintheart Glomgold, Magica DeSpell, Poe, Ma Beagle, the Beagle Boys, Mrs. Beakley, and Webbigail Vanderquack.
