Gamers in the UAE eagerly awaiting the release of Grand Theft Auto 6 may need to brace for a higher-than-expected price tag.
A recent digital listing spotted on Xbox suggests the standard edition of GTA 6 could cost £89.99. If accurate, that would likely translate to a $99.99 price point in the US and approximately Dh370 in the UAE, depending on regional pricing and exchange rates.
The listing, discovered by eagle-eyed fans, is widely believed to be a placeholder. However, it has reignited discussions around how much Rockstar’s next blockbuster could cost at launch.

Interestingly, the same storefront shows a PC code for the Rockstar Games Launcher priced at £60.99, a noticeably lower and somewhat unusual figure. As of now, there has been no confirmation that GTA 6 will launch on PC alongside consoles this November.
No official confirmation yet
Neither Rockstar Games nor Take-Two Interactive has confirmed the official price of GTA 6. The £89.99 figure also appeared on Loaded (formerly CD Keys), a well-known digital storefront popular among PC gamers for discounted codes.
If the £89.99 listing proves accurate, GTA 6 could become one of the most expensive standard editions of a major title, potentially ranging between $70 and $100 globally.
What this means for UAE gamers
In the UAE, premium AAA games typically retail between Dh250 and Dh300 at launch. A Dh370 price point would mark a significant jump, reflecting rising development costs, inflation, and the industry’s gradual shift toward higher base prices.
For now, fans will have to wait for official confirmation, but if these early listings are anything to go by, GTA 6 may come with a record-breaking price tag.
Rockstar's highly anticipated video game is slated to release on November 19, 2026.
