Indian woman allegedly kills in-laws amid lockdown

The husband of the accused and their two young children were at the house when the murders were committed.

A woman in Delhi has allegedly killed her parents-in-law amid the nationwide lockdown, NDTV reported.
The husband of the accused and their two young children were at the house when the murders were committed.
Police were informed about the killings on Friday morning.
They said that Kavita, 35, allegedly strangled Raj Singh and Omwati and later stabbed them to death at their home in West Delhi's Chhawla locality.
Kavita's husband, Satish Singh, is also a suspect in the case, according to the police.
However, the role of the 37-year-old husband is not yet clear.
he bodies were found in one of the bedrooms, said the police. "As cops reached the crime scene, bodies of the elderly couple were found inside a room on a bed. Sharp cut marks were found on their faces," a police officer was quoted as saying by NDTV.
During the initial investigation, property dispute was found to be one of the motives of the crime.
Kavita and her husband are being quizzed in the case and no arrests have been made so far.
